This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
